If you are a young adult, age 18-25, College and Career is for YOU! We are an official ministry of McKernan Baptist Church and our heart is to come alongside you and provide you with opportunities... These opportunities will give you the chance to grow spiritually, make your faith your own, enter into your identity as a disciple, and have fun. We meet weekly with different types of events for the purpose of facilitating relational depth both with God and with other believers. C&C exists for YOU!
Who is C&C for?
College and Career ministries at McKernan Baptist Church exists for young adults (around age 18-25). If you’re single, dating, married, in school, out of school, working.. College and Career can be a place for you to belong. If you aren’t sure where you would fit, we encourage you to come and check it out, meet some of us, and get a feel for the group! We are sure that if you give it time, you will find that you fit right in.
All C&C Events will typically begin at McKernan Baptist Church in our west campus, which we call the Lighthouse. The address is 11125 76 avenue, Edmonton, Ab.
We meet for you! We want all young adults to have a place where they feel that they belong and they can truly be themselves. Many young adults are at a point where they are wrestling to truly discover who they are, who God is, and what their purpose in life is supposed to be. We want to provide a space for these questions (and others) to be answered in a Biblical way. Along with this, we see the value of depth in relationships. We want to facilitate the type of relationships that will truly last forever!
How do I get involved?
There are a few ways to get involved! If you are busy and only have time to come to C&C periodically please know that you are invited to do so. If you want to focus on connecting with new people and building relationships, Check out our connect events and Koinonia nights. If you want to grow deep in your relationship with God and others, come to Basic on Thursday nights and Converge the first Saturday of every month. If you want to join a small group, we have C&C aged small groups, you are invited to fill out a small group intake card. If you want to serve, check out our leadership opportunities and Red Frogs… If you want the whole experience: by all means, immerse yourself into the culture here. We are here for you, please get involved.
