Reflect
This passage is an important one for us as people who live in the resurrection of Christ. The old is gone and the new is here. Verse 12 sums it up well: “Therefore, since we have such a hope, we are very bold.” Because of Jesus and what He did for us, we have a new hope that changes everything! Not only does it change everything for us, we are called to radiate that glory to the world around us. We get to be a part of bringing God’s kingdom to the world around us. We need to take off the veils that conceal the glory of God in us, and display this to the people around us. They need to see the hope that we have in Jesus, how that changes everything, and that even this is just a glimpse of the glory we will one day enter. This is exciting! And it should be!
