Preparation for Sunday
Read John 14:16-27
As we continue our “28 Days of Prayer” as a church, today Pastor Lyle will focus around the theme of the Lord’s voice. The passage above finds the disciples at a point where they thought the ending of the physical presence of Jesus would mean the end of hearing His voice. Jesus, however, countered this thinking by promising that He and the Father would send the Holy Spirit as the continuing source of God’s presence and leading in their lives.
