Preparation for Sunday, October 21

Acts 3:1-10

Reflect
Today Pastor Lyle will continue his series in the book of Acts, looking at this story in which a crippled man is miraculously healed.  It is significant to note how Peter and John’s actions toward this man was impacted by their belief that God really could change his destiny.  The man thought he needed money.  The disciples knew he needed something far deeper, an encounter with God.

Apply

  • In a world that so often looks for financial and material answers to life’s issues, how aware are you of the deeper need for people to encounter God?
  • After listening to this morning’s message, how do you believe God is asking you to respond?
  • Ask God to work in the hearts of all who will be attending our services today.
