Young Adults Camping Trip

Join us on another adventuresome young adults camping trip this summer! 

Who is this Trip For? 

Young adults of ages 18-35 (College & Career and The Crossing)

When? August 17 - 19, 2012

Departure Time: 5:00pm. Meet in the Church parking lot to carpool. 

Return Time: 5:00pm on Aug. 19

Cost - $40 per person which covers food and your campsite.  Please have money ready for August 17 and if you are writing a cheque please make it out to Andrew Browne.  Please also bring some cash to reimburse whoever you are carpooling with.

What to Bring:

• sleeping bag and pillow
• at least one change of clothes
• toiletries
• towel and swimming wear
• hiking shoes
• water bottle
• Bible / journal
• board games, cards, frisbees etc..

Schedule

Friday 5:30pm - meet at church to drive out to Kootenay Plains

Friday Evening – Setup camp, campfire, songs

Saturday Morning – Breakfast, devotions and talk by Stephen Epp

Saturday Afternoon – lunch, hike

Saturday Evening – supper, free time, worship and talk by Daunavan Buyer

Sunday Morning – Breakfast, pack up

Sunday midday – Church service by lake and talk by Andrew Browne

Map and Directions

Go south on highway 2 out of Edmonton

Turn West (right) on highway 12 (Lacombe exit)

Turn South (left) on highway 22

Turn West (right) on highway 11

Follow highway 11(approx 146 km) until you reach Kootenay Plains campground (south side of highway)
