Read Genesis 3:1-21
Today, Pastor Lyle will begin a series of sermons entitled “When Disruption Hits.” There are many stories in the Bible where things simply don’t seem to go as expected. The first such instance occurred when Adam and Eve chose to disobey God and life as they knew it changed dramatically. This disruption was caused by their own failure and provides significant direction and encouragement for us when our lives are disrupted by our own moral failures.
Apply
- What was the immediate response of Adam and Eve to their sin? What was God’s ultimate response to their sin (v. 15, 21; 1 Cor. 15:21-22)?
- After listening to this morning’s message, how do you believe God is asking you to respond?
- Ask God to work in the hearts of all who will be attending our services on-line today.
Pray
- Pray that God would effectively be at work in our church and in all His churches throughout our city today.
