Psalm 133

Reflect

“How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity!” There is so much in our world that is competing against our unity as brothers and sisters in Christ. Things like jealousy, unforgiveness, selfishness, unspoken hurt, being competitive, etc. We so easily get caught up in this scarcity mindset of “if someone else gets more, that means there’s less for me”. Sometimes we forget that we’re all on the same team. David gives us a beautiful picture when he writes about the dew of Hermon falling on Mount Zion. It’s about a richness and fruitfulness that the people of God experience when we live in unity with each other, not for our own glory but for God’s. We were created to live in unity with one another. Is there something that is competing for your unity with another believer? Is there something that you can do today to begin working towards healing and wholeness?
