Isaiah 6:1-8
Today Pastor Lyle will continue our ministry theme “Beyond” with a message on God’s invitation to move “beyond an inadequate view of God.” Having journeyed through the first five chapters of Isaiah, we now come to a description of how God called this prophet to serve Him. What stands out in this description is its emphasis on God. Isaiah ultimately was given a vision of the reality of God that impacted how he then saw himself and the people around Him. His story communicates in a powerful way the importance of having a true view of God that continues to grow as we walk with Him.
