We’re Hiring!

We’re hiring full time educators for September!  If interested, please send a cover letter and resume to our Team Lead ashley@mckernanbaptist.ca no later than by August 7. Those selected for an interview will be contacted.  Job Requirements include: childcare certification (CDS/level 3 preferred), strong communication & team work, valid first aid, security clearance check, and experience working with children under 5 as mandatory.  As a leader in the childcare industry, our team is committed to ongoing professional learning, reflective practice and planning using Flight: Alberta’s Early Learning Curriculum framework.  A willingness to grow within our learning community, and experience working with emergent curriculum and developmentally appropriate practice is an asset.

 

In addition to fair wages, MCDC is committed to creating a strong team environment.  Benefits include: dedicated time for planning & documentation, paid PD days,  3-4 weeks of paid vacation, paid sick time, extended time off around Christmas, personal days & fully paid health benefits are offered to all full time employees.  Full time contracts are for 37.5 hrs per week and shift times vary depending on the needs of the program.
