Preparation for Sunday, December 9

Acts 9:1-19

Reflect
On this second Sunday of Advent, we will light the “hope” candle and see how Saul’s  (his name would later be changed to Paul) foundation of hope was radically changed when he encountered Jesus Christ.  In his blindness, Saul was finally able to see the darkness of his own efforts and the light of who Jesus truly was and the hope and life He offered.

Apply

  • What is the basis of your hope, both for now and for eternity?
  • After listening to this morning’s message, how do you believe God is asking you to respond?
  • Ask God to work in the hearts of all who will be attending our services today.

Pastor Lyle
