John 3:1-21

Reflect
Today’s passage has one of the most well-known verses in the Bible, but I don’t want us to stop at verse 16. Verse 17 tells us that God did not send Jesus to condemn the world, but to save it through His Son Jesus. So, if God did not send Jesus to condemn the world, then maybe I shouldn’t be so quick to write off the world or the people I come in contact with on a regular basis. What if we took the posture of seeing the world through God’s eyes and desire that the people we come in contact with would come to know the saving truth of the Gospel?

As we continue to go deep with God I pray we will also go wide with His love, grace and truth.

Stephen Alksne - House of Prayer Edmonton
I am a full-time intercessory missionary at the House of Prayer Edmonton (HoPE), a ministry dedicated to night and day worship. Through a foundation of worship and prayer, I equip others to engage in and sustain corporate worship and intercession in their lives and churches. I grew up in Edmonton and was saved when I was around 15 years old. In my younger days, I began to come to House of Prayer Edmonton and was strengthened and challenged in my personal prayer life. In the midst of a series of events, I felt strongly that the Lord was handing to me an invitation to be on staff at HoPE for the long term. At this point in time, I can think of nothing greater to give my life to, that I would be so privileged to stand with the HoPE team in the building of night and day prayer and worship in Edmonton.
