Psalm 25

Reflect
This psalm has been called a covenant for sinners, as the central theme is one of finding the “way or ways” of Yahweh.  A part of this discovery is experiencing divine forgiveness and grace and realizing that we live in a covenantal relationship with God.  God is not looking for sinless perfection, but rather those who are humble, those who acknowledge their need for and reliance on God.  In response to our humility and acknowledgement that we are sinners, God is loving and faithful to us (v10), forgiving our iniquity (v11), and taking away all our sins (v18b).
