Preparation for Sunday, November 17

Philippians 2:14-18

Reflect
Today Pastor Mike will continue the series in Philippians with a message on a challenging passage addressing our attitudes.  It seems that encountering grumbling or complaining has become a common occurrence in our daily experience.   How does a Christ follower who does not grumble, complain or argue stand out and shine the light of Jesus into their world?

Apply
We are called in this passage to do everything without grumbling and arguing.  Where might that be the hardest for you to live out?  How would your desire to follow the example of Jesus, by not grumbling or arguing give you an opportunity to show Jesus to those around you? After listening to this morning’s message, how do you believe God is asking you to respond?  Ask God to work in the hearts of all who will be attending our services today.
