1 Corinthians 16

Reflect

Quantity or quality time?  Which would you choose?  As Paul ends 1 Corinthians, he lets them know he wants to come and spend a long stretch of time with them. He wants quantity – and quality!  Paul doesn’t just want to evangelize an area, start a church and move on, he wants to spend time, grow the people in discipleship and maturity, and deal with difficult problems the church is going through. He wasn’t giving up on the complex church at Corinth, despite its issues.  Real, effective ministry and spiritual growth is long-term.  We need to be with each other in patient, persistent, real-life relationships to become mature believers.
