Read Luke 18:15-17
Preparation for Sunday
Today, Pastor Lyle will begin a new series of sermons entitled, “Walking with Jesus to the Events of Easter”. We will look at various stories from the life of Jesus from the book of Luke. In the passage above, we see people bringing their babies to Jesus and Jesus taking the time to individually bless them. As the disciples interrupt to point out how inefficient this use of Jesus’ time is, Jesus counters by challenging them to look at a little child as a model of what it means to live in Christ’s Kingdom.
