Preparation for Sunday
Read Genesis 12:4-9
Today Pastor Lyle will continue a series of summer messages entitled, “Abraham, On a Journey with God.” As we see Abraham follow God’s leading, it quickly becomes apparent that He is being called to a story much bigger than his own. From the passage above, we begin to see some of the dynamics involved in seeing our lives as part of God’s bigger story.

- In what ways do you see your life being part of something much bigger that God is orchestrating? What makes it difficult to see your life in this way?
- After listening to this morning’s message, how do you believe God is asking you to respond?
- Ask God to work in our congregation and in your heart as we gather to worship Him today.
