Your child's health:
We operate a well-baby program. For the protection of all the children in our ministry we cannot accept a child with an excessively runny nose, fresh cold (four days or less), fever, rash, persistent cough, diarrhea or any other signs of illness. We request that you not place your child in the program while they are at risk of exposing other children. Thank you in advance for helping us keep our program a healthy place for all.
When you arrive:
We will be open for use 15 minutes before the 1st service and available 15 after the 1st service. Sign in your child at the registration desk. If you are a new family, please fill out a family registration form and give it to the nursery leader as you drop your child off. You will find a board with numbers on it. Take a number and then place your child’s name on the white board beneath it. This number will be used to silently page you within the service if we need you in the nursery. The page system is located above the organ in the sanctuary. Give any special instructions to the leader who greets you and the diaper bag with the things listed above within it. It will have specific areas for the various stages of development – babies, crawlers, walkers etc.
Our Volunteers:
Each of our volunteers has had a police background security check to ensure the highest integrity. Parents are encouraged to team up together for nursery duty. Talk to one of the greeters to sign up/enlist and receive a security clearance form.

Preschool
Location: Main Building Second Floor (past Nursery and upstairs)
Times Available: Sunday Mornings 9:30 AM - 11:00 AM
Young children will grow in God in a fun and loving atmosphere through creative Bible teaching, stories, learning centres and joining the elementary for worship. The GOD prints curriculum and uses creative interaction. This allows the children to become part of the story so that they begin to understand the impact of God’s presence and power through Bible characters. The children have the opportunity to meet in Small Groups each week to apply what they have learned to their everyday life as a preschooler. The children are strongly encouraged to learn the verse of the month.

Grades 5-6
Location: Main Building Second Floor (past Nursery and upstairs)
Times Available: Sunday Mornings 9:30 AM – 11:00 AM
Grade 5 & 6 children are as unique as any other group that we have within our children’s ministry. However, this can be an awkward stage of life: too old to be a part of the younger children’s program and not quite old enough to join the youth group functions. We want our grade 5 & 6’s to develop an identity both as individuals and as a group fully devoted to Christ. We have dedicated young men and women that get to know your children and minister to them in ways that meet their needs. Your child may be invited to participate in a "junior youth" type activity from time to time and even have one of our volunteers meet them at your homes to further impact them for Christ. The group engages in an intimate and fun singing time. The teaching is built around a framework of creative Bible teaching in a Large Group setting while concentrating on applying these truths to their daily lives in a Small Group setting. This junior youth group setting will be sure to be a great experience for your child!
When you arrive:
Parents can walk their children to the second floor to where the grades 5 & 6 have a room which they have made their own. However, children are free to arrive on their own if parents feel comfortable enough with this.
Our Volunteers:
Each of our volunteers has had a police background security check to ensure the highest integrity.
Pick-up Procedures
Children are released once the 9:30 AM church service has completed. Parents are welcome to come get them as they see fit.
Once a month our grade 5&6 kids have a fun social event called CRASHNIGHT! On Sunday mornings, they will hear about the next fun event like water fight night, mission impossible, girls or guys night out and much more!
CRASHNIGHT gets your kids connected, puts them in a safe social environment and gives them a chance to be positively influenced and cared for by their adult volunteers. Look for our next event!
