May the peace of Christ be with you today. Since I wrote my last devotional guide submission, we have seen significant changes in the world around us. We have before us opportunities to look in and look out. As responsible citizens we must make sure we are doing our part to ensure we are taking care of ourselves. However, we also have an opportunity before us to share the love of Christ with those around us who need a word of encouragement, a show of support, or simply just a conversation that isn’t discouraging.
Apply
In our passage today Jesus challenges those who would follow Him to look beyond themselves and their own self-interest, and to serve the needs of others. Are you able to serve others in a way that is safe and responsible? Where might God be opening doors to serve in ways that you might never have thought possible before?
