Devotional Guide for Saturday, May 30

Psalm 66

Reflect
The psalmist has two different responses to what God has done in his life. First, his response is to worship. He sings to God along with the rest of creation and everything in it and praises Him. His second response is to tell the people around him what God has done. He can’t keep his story to himself, but needs tell his testimony. He is so overcome with gratitude that his heart is turned towards others and their need to experience God and His faithfulness too. Praise and testimony. These are two powerful acts that we can be a part of, no matter what is going on in the world around us.

Apply
When you look back and see how God has worked in your life, how can you express your worship to Him in thanksgiving? Then, who around you needs to hear your story? Who needs to hear about what God has done in your life? How can you share some of your story today?
