John 12:12-19

Reflect

“At first His disciples did not understand all this. Only after Jesus was glorified did they realize that these things had been written about Him and that they had done these things to Him.” (v16). Sometimes we need help to fully understand what we’ve been shown, given or taught. The disciples were with Jesus and had a front row seat to all that He taught and did, yet they still didn’t fully grasp what He said. After Jesus was glorified, they finally connected the dots and understood. For me, I know having a mentor has helped me make sense of things in my life. My mentor is able to help me look past all the noise and focus in on what matters most. As we continue in our 40 Days of Decrease, may you allow Lent to be a mentor to you, to get past the noise and truly hear what God has to say to you.

Pray
for Tim Weibe - Hockey Ministries International
Hockey Ministries International exists to share the hope found in Jesus Christ with the hockey community. We serve 42 leagues with over 300 volunteer Chapel leaders in North America and Europe and provide online chapel programs for interested players who do not have access to an in person chapel.  We also over 35 summer hockey camps in 7 different countries.  Here in Alberta we serve Minor hockey, Jr hockey (AJHL, WHL), College hockey (ACAC, USport) and Pro hockey teams (NHL) with chapel programs.  We are hoping to be able to run 5 camps this summer in Lethbridge, Medicine Hat, Cochrane, Edmonton, and Grande Prairie. This is a 250% increase from last year and thus requires more volunteers and funds to be able to offer these camps at affordable prices.
Please pray we us that God will provide the volunteers, the resources, the campers and the opportunities to share the love of Jesus.
