Romans 16:25-27

Reflect
Today we come to the end of the letter, or the doxology. Merriam Webster defines doxology as an oral expression of praise and glorification.
Paul is finishing his letter and calls his readers to remember that the teaching in his letter is all about the glory of God.
One commentator wrote that these verses appear as if Paul was led to burst out in spontaneous praise to God as he reflected on the marvelous truths he had taught in the letter.
What a beautiful picture this commentator paints for us; that our response to the truths of the Gospel would lead us to praise God passionately and spontaneously.

Apply
As you reflect on the writing of Paul in Romans, may you allow yourself to respond in spontaneous praise to God.

Pray for Taylor Seminary

Over the past few years, God has been revealing a new and exciting vision for the future of theological education in the North American Baptist Conference.  God is weaving together Taylor Seminary and Sioux Falls Seminary.  Through this process, we are better stewards of the resources God has provided to us and are more attentive to the vocations of all the people of God. As institutions of the NAB, we are dedicated to supporting the church in fulfilling her task of developing disciples who observe all that the Lord commanded them. The Kairos Project, a journey of theological education that is integrated into the various aspects of a student’s life (home, work, church, etc.) is now offered at both Taylor and Sioux Falls.  Kairos is designed for individuals who are actively engaged in ministry and/or desire to integrate their faith and work.  We are making our resources more accessible to those who call Jesus Christ their Saviour and Lord.
