Discussion Questions

  1. What kind of “king” do I instinctively want Jesus to be—and how does that differ from the king who rides in on a donkey?

  2. Where might I be cheering loudly while quietly resisting change?

  3. Is there an area where I’m waiting for clarity when God is actually calling me to obedience?

  4. How do I respond when I don’t understand what God is doing—do I trust Him or withdraw?

  5. Where do I subtly expect Jesus to serve my life rather than surrender my life to Him?
