- What are some expectations we Christians today often place on Jesus (how He should act, answer prayer, lead our church, shape our culture)?
- Which of your own expectations might Jesus be gently challenging right now, and what would it look like to stay open to His correction?
- When you think about Jesus’ authority—His right to confront your habits, priorities, or beliefs—where do you feel drawn and where do you feel resistance?
- What might it look like, very practically, to respond more like the officers and Nicodemus (listening, wrestling, obeying) rather than like the Pharisees this week?
- How does recognizing Jesus as the source of the Spirit change the way you approach your faith, worship, or everyday decisions?
