Psalm 95

Reflect
I find it so sad that some days I don’t even think about the amazing things God is doing each moment of every day. Every heartbeat and breathe is a miracle of God. Children?  Amazing! The sun rises and sets. Beautiful! Our seasons and gardens are all God’s doing (and that’s just to name a few).
The children of Israel could have seen the miracles of God every day and turned their hearts towards Him. Instead they hardened their hearts (vs. 8-9). It is, however, a very slippery slope for us to criticize them, thinking, “How in the world couldn’t they see this was all God?” This song, Psalm 95, was written as a reminder and warning to us all to look to God and remember, worship, be thankful, declare God’s Lordship, and bow before Him.  Let us acknowledge Him and respond with humility.

Prayer
Father, I don’t want to miss You because I’m too busy to notice. I don’t want to sin in my heart or misunderstand Your ways.  I don’t want to miss my rest in You.  Teach me to worship You.
