Preparation for Sunday, June 20

Psalm 67

Many of the Psalms were written as songs to be sung. We take our place in a spiritual formation line that stretches for thousands of years that lift this prayer like song to the Lord. Through singing we are able to memorize Scripture very effectively. Memorizing Scripture shapes our mind to the things that God knows are best for us in order to experience the abundant life.
As you meditate upon this Psalm, pay attention to what words the Lord is having you linger upon. Don’t rush the process, chew slowly upon what the Lord feeds you.
What did the Lord have you pay attention to? Why do you think He did?
What role do you have, as a recipient of blessings, into the lives of others?

  • Ask God to work in your heart and in the hearts of all who will be attending our services online and in-person today.
  • Pray that God would effectively be at work in our church and in all His churches throughout our city today.
  • Pray for our Children’s Ministry Pastor, Jerilyn Bayer, her Ministry Assistant Annette Faszer, and interns Nathanael Faszer, Sunita Faszer, and Blythe Knapczyk.
