Acts 16:6-10
Reflect
Today we read about Paul’s desire to go to different places to preach the Gospel. Paul ran into God keeping him from going where he wanted to go.
Planning isn’t a bad thing, but what can get us in trouble is when we don’t submit our planning to God for His approval, or if after presenting our plans to God, we don’t take the time to listen to what God is saying to us about those plans.
God was guiding Paul all along his journeys, and Paul was faithful to serve even when it was in locations that weren’t his first choice.
God was leading Paul throughout a time of uncertainty, and God will be faithful to lead you and me through our times of uncertainty as well. Proverbs 16:9 “In his heart a man plans his course, but the LORD determines his steps.” May we continually be people who allow the Lord to determine our steps.
