Galatians 1:1-5
Reflect
Paul begins this letter to Galatia for them to understand that Jesus is enough! Faith in Jesus Christ is enough. He made it clear that his authority as a messenger did not come through man, but from and “through Jesus Christ and God.”
Jesus is enough because, from these verses He is the Christ, the Lord, and the Son. Jesus is Adonai, the God of the Old Testament.
Jesus is enough because He has done the impossible and came back from the dead and Paul is reminding them of it.
Jesus is enough because He delivered Himself over to death in order to deliver us from a life of sin and rescue us from the present evil age. He died to free us from a mindset that leads to destruction and He rose and authorized the writing of the Bible to fill us with a mindset that leads to eternal life. Jesus is enough! Trust Him. Study Him. It will be grace to you and glory to God!
