Matthew 28:1-10
Reflect
I met a young mom with three children recently who tells everyone about Jesus. Taxi drivers, restaurant workers or anyone who will listen. She is always looking for an opportunity to share. I wished I had her boldness. I try to live my life so that others will want to know about the love, peace, joy and hope I have.
The Lord of Life has risen from the dead, and you know Him. Not just about Him, but know Him personally. Whatever is wrong, whatever is broken, He can take it and make it new. He can give you life, because He has defeated death. No matter what happens Jesus is with us and we will never be separated from Him.
We have good news to share. Jesus has been raised from the dead! Jesus lives! This isn’t just some historical fact. It is a life-changing reality. Just like the two Marys were told to tell the disciples, we as disciples of Jesus Christ have been giving the instructions to go and tell the good news to those around us. We might be the one person that they ever hear about it from.
Maybe we are not all as bold as that young mom but we are called to share the Good News. Who can you share this Good News with? Ask Jesus.
