Ladies Who Lift

We desire to be good stewards of our bodies. Fitness can and should be part of our spiritual disciplines as a way to connect with and worship God.  Join us for a FREE women’s only strength training class led by a certified instructor.
* Must be 18+ to participate.

This 1-hour class is scheduled for 6 weeks, Monday evenings at 7pm: MAR 16, 23, APR 6, 13, 20, 27, in the multipurpose room downstairs. (Note: there is no class on Monday, March 30.)

The training is intended to teach lower, upper body and core exercises that can be done with both lighter or heavier weights.  Class incorporates low impact cardio (no jumping), upper, lower body and core exercises.  

Participants must bring their own exercise mat and their own set of weights (2-3lbs, 5lbs, 8lbs, or 10lbs).  We recommend using a small luggage bag on wheels to transport your weights.

Wear comfortable workout clothes and running shoes and please being a water bottle.

These classes are designed for women of all fitness levels who have mobility and range of motion. Participants do not need to be in good physical shape to participate.

Space is limited and all participants must pre-register and sign the waiver and the health screening form.  Email your signed waivers* to Pastor Melissa. Copies will also be available to sign on the first night only.

Due to the popularity of this course, we ask that participants only register if they are able to commit to attending at least 4 of the 6 sessions.

Drop-ins are not permitted.

* If you're unable to scan and email the forms, please leave them at the Welcome Center in an envelope addressed to Pastor Melissa.
