Nehemiah 2:1-20
Reflect
Amongst many others it is said to have happened to Elijah, Ezekiel and Daniel. The Psalmists frequently call us to experience it. It weaves together the book Ezra, which we just finished. And it comes up twice in today’s passage. Got it?
When Jesus employed this practice, He radically pushed aside all cultural norms as He left a trail of blessings and healings.
When someone experiences the touch of the hand of God upon their life, they are altered in a manner that always results in the transformation of not only their own life, but also the lives of those they are called to go and serve.
Not one of us would be able to walk with Jesus except for the touch of God upon our soul. His touch always comes as a means of grace upon us. There is nothing we do that forces God to touch us with grace. The good hand of God satisfies our desires and when we are open to His further touch, we will never again settle for a life of mediocrity.

How has God touched you? Are you open to being touched every day with new grace?
Who will you go to today as the hands and feet of God’s touch of Grace?
