Acts 18:18-28
Reflect
In reading today’s passage, I was struck by the introduction of Apollos. Apollos is described as a Jew from Alexandria who is a learned man with a thorough knowledge of the Scriptures, was gifted in speech and taught about Jesus accurately.
What caught my attention is that it seems Apollos couldn’t help but share the truth about Jesus to all he encountered. The knowledge of Scripture and the truth of who Jesus was so compelled Apollos that he couldn’t help but tell people about. It’s like Apollos had learned something so significant that he couldn’t imagine not sharing this important truth with other people.
What would it look like if we were more like Apollos, sharing the truth of who Jesus is to the world around us?

Pray for Hannah Nesdoly – Desert Streams
The Lord started me on a healing journey at McKernan, back in 2017. I realized God had been giving me a desire for healing and for helping people, and that He was preparing me for healing ministries! After getting connected with Desert Streams, I completed their LiFE School courses and joined their staff team in November 2021 as a Ministry Assistant! Desert Streams has been serving locally in Edmonton for over 15 years. We partner with God to bring His healing and life to people’s darkest places, and to help them get free from bondage and brokenness. We do this primarily through personal ministry appointments (PMAs) and our LiFE School. During a PMA, a team of ministers meets with the person seeking healing to explore and pray through a variety of issues related to their life. The LiFE School, and the LiFE Light version of it, are for those who want to learn about healing, the Kingdom of God, and receive healing themselves. As I continue with Desert Streams, I am eager to see more and more people come to life, and have freedom and healing from the enemy’s work--all for the glory of God!
