Acts 23:23-35
Reflect
The Lord works in ways that sometimes only seem to make sense to the Lord alone.
Our passage today has Paul being moved from one place of imprisonment to another and it doesn’t really seem that Paul is making any progress towards being released. It appears he is just being held in prison for his own safety as there was a plot to end his life.
It’s unlikely Paul knew he would be in prison for the next four years of his life, but it is likely he continued to hold onto the hope he would experience the promise the Lord gave him to be able to witness in Rome.
I don’t know what you are experiencing today, but I pray you are clinging to Jesus. Today may not make sense to you but hold on tight to Jesus and He will help you through.

Pray for Taylor Seminary
Over the past several years, God has been revealing a new and exciting vision for the future of theological education in the North American Baptist Conference by weaving together Taylor Seminary and Sioux Falls Seminary. We are stepping boldly into the future of theological education and have come together to create a first of its kind global network that is making theological education more affordable, accessible, relevant, and faithful. What began as the “Kairos Project” in 2014, ultimately led to the launch of Kairos University last year. Kairos has dramatically increased our ability to serve students in Edmonton, throughout Alberta, across Canada, and around the world. Together, we are seeing God work in significant and powerful ways to rekindle the flame for theological education across the NAB. Through a commitment to developing followers of Christ who flourish in their vocational contexts, Kairos has created new opportunities for collaboration within the NAB.
