John 10:1-10
Reflect
“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” (v10)
When a person decides to turn their life over to Jesus and truly follow Him, it comes with some changes. I think there are people who believe that following Jesus means a life of restrictions and onerous rules.
This verse paints a different picture as it tells us that the thief, the evil one, the world, comes to steal, kill, and destroy, not Jesus. It might look like a good deal or a free and easy life, but when the days roll on, it becomes clear that this isn’t an easy or full life without pain and heartache.
As I have wrestled with this verse, I am challenged to ask Jesus what a full life from His perspective is for me. This is a work in progress, but I fully trust Jesus to know what is best for me and that a full life with Jesus is probably better than anything I could dream up.

Pray for Jason and Erin Bergman – NAB Romania
We are currently serving in Romania at Camp Falcon Rock. We have seen many campers take significant steps in their faith journey as they experience camp life. During the off season, Jason works construction at the camp as it continues to grow in infrastructure. Besides camp programs, I (Erin) have been doing some organic ministry in our neighborhood and helping out with some other opportunities, the most recent being some refugee ministry at Camp Falcon Rock. We look forward to being witnesses to God’s work in the lives of those He has invited to camp this year. Our family enjoys Friday pizza and movie nights, spending time outside, having people over and playing games! We have lived in a city this past year but we will be moving to a house near the camp late summer/fall so we would appreciate prayer as we transition to living out in the country and connecting into a new local village church and community.
