Devotional Guide for Thursday, March 30

Hebrews 13:1-6

Reflect

Our passage today gives us a good look at what was expected from those who called themselves Christians. As a believer, it was understood that this shared bond, following Jesus’ teachings, would knit you together closely with other believers, and serve as the foundation for how you would practically live out the love you showed for one another.

Generosity and care for others comes with a cost. Some of those costs are financial while others might be emotional, but we are encouraged to not allow the “cost” of loving others to be a deterrent from loving on others.

As you reflect on today’s passage, ask the Lord to show you how you can make this passage come to life practically for you this week.

Pray for Elsie Lewandowski

I cannot thank you enough for the supporting role you have played in my life.  You have encouraged with prayers, words and financial support.  Many of you have been faithful for more than thirty years.  It’s been quite a journey.
May God continue to use you in small and great ways as you serve Him.  May He grant you strength and joy in your journey.
Thank God for:
Guiding, healing and being there each step of my journey.
An “all clear” cancer report!
The many people that prayed for me.
