Galatians 4:25-31
Reflect
Today we read about two women and how they represent the two covenants of Moses (the law) and of Abraham (Jesus). Their children represent those who persecute and those who are persecuted. The Judaizers continue to say it is Christ plus Moses and if you only believe in Jesus, you are wrong.
As you read the passage you may wonder how it relates to us today. Today’s Judaizers look more like those for whom a pluralistic view of life is the correct life. Why should there only be one way to salvation? Do you really believe in “absolute truth”, or can there be multiple options of what truth looks like? Paul would remind us that living the way Jesus calls us to live will be challenged but we should not shrink back just because it might be hard. Let us live lives that reflect the freedom we have in Jesus.

Pray for Young Life
Young Life is a Christian mission that loves teenagers and encourages them to know Jesus Christ. We go where kids are and build personal relationships with them. We provide fun, adventure, and life-changing experiences. We do this by working alongside like-minded adults who believe that every teen deserves the right to hear God’s news.
Young Life is thriving in the city and throughout the province. We are excited to see our ministries start in new neighbourhoods and in new schools throughout the city. We are also pleased to announce new work with our Indigenous communities and are excited about how God will lead us with this new ministry.
Janelle and I continue to live in S. Edmonton with our daughter McKinley who loves life and loves to laugh. We’re grateful for McKernan’s support and continue to pray for those that attend McKernan and its programs. Thank you for your prayers & support.
