Devotional Guide for Tuesday, October 10

Ephesians 3:1-6

Reflect
My mom and I often reminisce on how our lives have unfolded. It is always amazing to see how God, in His Sovereignty orchestrated the details.

Paul points out that God, by His grace, chose him to bring the Gospel to the Gentiles and reveal this great part of God’s plan to his generation. This plan is that the Gospel is for all people, that Gentiles are heirs together with Jews, becoming members of one body, and equal in Christ. I love that in verse 2 Paul says “…God’s grace that was given to me for you…”.

Have you ever thought back to those who were given of God’s grace so that today you could be a part of Christ’s body? Thank God for them today, and if possible, let them know how their faithfulness in sharing the Gospel with you has impacted your life. Remember that the grace given to you is to benefit someone else. Ask God for more opportunities to share the Gospel with others. Praise God today for His wonderful plan to include you in His body. May this be a rehearsal for that great day when there will be a great multitude from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, praising Him for such a great salvation!
