Devotional Guide for Thursday, October 12

Ephesians 3:14-21

Reflect

What an amazing prayer. I encourage you to read this passage again slowly, and notice what stands out to you. If you have time, read it again. What is the Lord bringing to your attention? Why do you think it caught your attention?

Paul is praying for an empowering of the Spirit in the lives of the readers. With the Spirit’s power in their lives, there is so much they can experience. In fact, it will be more than they can ask or imagine.

As you reflect on this passage, I pray you will receive Paul’s prayer over your own life, that you will begin to grasp the fullness of God’s love and power in your life.

Pray for Rasem and Naheda - Navigators
Naheda and I have been ministering God with Navigators for 17 years. We basically concentrate on evangelism and discipleship among the Muslims and the lost. We have five families in a Bible study and discipleship in Arabic. We visit three Muslims family friends from time to time, sharing stories from the Gospel. We have been praying for three years for our God to raise up young people who are willing and feel called to reach out to Muslims. God has given us three brothers to do that. Last summer we were in Syria, and God blessed us in this ministry there. Our team is very encouraged despite the very bad conditions and extreme poverty, equipping young leaders to bring the Living Word among the University students. Pray for us and the ministry team in Edmonton to listen very carefully to the Voice of the Holy Spirit and His guidance.
