If you are new to McKernan since June or have not previously attended a Newcomers Meet & Greet Lunch, we would love to have you join us for lunch. Come meet others at McKernan and learn about all the exciting ministries you can be a part of. Please register online by Friday October 31.
MONDAY, WOMEN: LADIES WHO LIFT, Monday evenings (4 weeks), 7pm (Multipurpose room)
This is a 1-hour class for women 18+ of all fitness levels who have mobility and range of motion. Participants do not need to be in good physical shape to participate. Space is limited and all participants must pre-register and sign the required waiver. Email your signed waiver to Pastor Melissa. Copies will also be available to sign on the first night only. Registration is required.

NOV 9, 10:24 PRAYER (Open Invitation to Pray), after the 1st service (10:24-10:54am, Chapel Classroom)
November is designated as a special month for churches to remember to pray for our brothers and sisters around the world who are suffering persecution for their faith. We'll meet for 30 minutes of prayer together.
NOV 9, CHRISTMAS CHOIR, 6-8pm (Sanctuary)
Christmas choir time is here! We welcome anybody age 14 and up who would like to sing - sopranos, altos, tenors, and basses! Practices will run on Sunday evenings at the church November 9, 23, 30, and December 7, with performances at both services on December 14. NOV 12, MEMBERSHIP CLASS, 7:pm (Chapel)
Becoming a member of the local church is an important step in the life of a Christian. This 1-hour seminar presents important information about McKernan, our history, core values, beliefs, and the membership process. If you're interested in learning more, please register online.

Join us for a Pickleball round robin ($16.80). Details are available online. Deadline to register is NOV 10.

Come join us as we see who can get on target with McKernan Women's first Axe Throwing Night! Registration is required (no late registrations allowed). Cost is $37-47/person. Deadline to register is November 7.

MISSIONARY of the WEEK
New Dawn Initiative

New Dawn is the relief and development ministry of a network of Christ-following communities in West Africa (originating from Muslim backgrounds).
Convinced that the Gospel upholds the equality of women with men and that followers of Jesus should seek the well-being of their larger communities, this small, impoverished, and persecuted group has launched several initiatives: Agricultural Development, Education, Relief, Water Projects, Primary Health Care, and Interfaith Relations.
NDI is a grassroots movement that has no clergy or paid staff, so nearly all donations go directly toward these projects.
