Step through the mist into Rainforest Falls — a vibrant world of rushing waterfalls, towering trees, and colorful creatures. Under a canopy of chattering birds and howling monkeys, kids will embark on an unforgettable adventure discovering the nature of God. Along the way, they’ll learn what it means to be rooted in a relationship with God—their Creator—and find in Him a strong and safe place through every storm of life. Grade 6+ are welcome to volunteer. Email Pastor Brianna for more information. Deadline to register online is June 21, unless registration fills up first (100 spaces for the Elementary program and 20 spaces for the Preschool program).

McKernan Baptist Church invites you to join us for a hiking trip designed for outdoor enthusiasts eager for both challenge and camaraderie. Over three days, we’ll explore stunning alpine landscapes, pristine lakes, and panoramic mountain views that promise memories to last a lifetime. Visit the registration page for details. Desert Streams Healing Ministries was established in Edmonton in 2005 for the purpose of healing the inner person as well as the whole person, by partnering with God to help free people from all types of brokenness and bondage! Myrna Lynn and I serve as the directors of Desert Streams.
The primary services we provide are: personal ministry appointments, two healing retreats per year, our LiFE Light School (an introduction to healing ministry), and our LiFE School of Healing and Discipleship (a longer, more comprehensive and in-depth school). Please see our website for more details about these primary services!
We currently have five staff members, and a community of approximately forty volunteer ministers. We operate out of our ministry centre, which is located near 99 St. and Whitemud Freeway.
We’re very thankful for our longstanding partnership with McKernan Baptist Church!
Please pray that God would continue to give us much grace, guidance and growth as we work with Him to “Help people come to Life!”
