Acts 9:20-31
Reflect
Ever wondered if someone was beyond hope or rescue? Have you ever thought about giving up on someone, thinking they would never change, that it would never get better? Have you ever experienced a situation where you changed, and nobody would believe you? No matter how hard you tried, people still saw you as the same person they knew years ago.
Today’s passage is a great example showing that no one is beyond God’s redemptive reach and power. God intervened in Saul’s life and turned it around.
So, don’t give up hope on those you are praying for to come to know Jesus, or those who need God’s redemptive touch to take root in their lives. Don’t give up hope that God can touch your own life and make a difference.
Saul’s life was radically different, and it took someone like Barnabas to come alongside and vouch for the changed life. Barnabas took time to explore; he didn’t just pass judgement on what was true in the past. I hope we have people like Barnabas in our own lives, and that we can be a Barnabas to others.

Pray for Priscilla Project
In India, women are mainly limited to household work, which is not seen as work, so many feel like they don’t have any self-worth. They are very poor, so they go for daily jobs like maidservants or on construction sites etc. Many of these women are abused or downgraded. The Priscilla project provides these women with skills training such as cosmetology and tailoring with the purpose of earning much needed income, increasing their self-worth, increasing their stature at home and in society. The training is designed in that they study the Bible, evangelism and discipleship in the morning and the afternoon is the practical skills training. The ladies are happy with their knowledge and are excited to go back to their homes and start putting this knowledge into practice.
