John 3:14-21
Reflect
Today’s passage has one of the most well-known verses in the Bible, but I don’t want us to stop at verse 16. Verse 17 tells us that God did not send Jesus to condemn the world, but to save it through His Son Jesus.
So, if God did not send Jesus to condemn the world, then maybe I shouldn’t be so quick to write off the world or the people I come in contact with on a regular basis.
What if we took the posture of seeing the world through God’s eyes and desire that the people we come in contact with would come to know the saving truth of the Gospel? What would it look like to extend some of the love Jesus has extended to us to those around us?
Who is someone you could extend some of this love that God has for us to today?

Pray for Aaron Cranton – OSAILS (Old Strathcona Abounding In Love Society)
The Father has called us to journey, in the Spirit of Christ, alongside our homeless and marginalized neighbours in Old Strathcona, providing emotional, spiritual, and relational support directly and through partnerships with community organizations. Our reputation amongst our homeless neighbours, as a group of people who are committed to fostering meaningful relationships with the objective of reconciliation with our Father continues to grow. As honest, mutually vulnerable friendships deepen, many are moved to change their circumstance and transition from hopelessness to hope. Many in our community who are homeless and marginalized are tremendously burdened by unforgiveness, shame, and guilt. God is using His street outreach mission to ensure that everybody knows at a heart level His desire to be in a personal relationship with ALL His children. Everyone can experience the forgiveness and healing that comes through accepting Christ’s gift of forgiveness and call to a new life.
