Hebrews 11:8-22
Reflect
Is there something God is calling you to do or change? Is God pushing on something in your life, but you just are not sure if you can step into this new unknown place?
Today we read about Abraham and all the things he did by “faith”. He went to a new place, received a son at an old age, offered that very son up as a sacrifice, because he trusted God to be trustworthy.
I love the story of Abraham and how he trusted God in all the different circumstances of his life, but I am humbled by verse 13. “All these people were still living by faith when they died.”

As you reflect on today’s passage and then on your own life, what “by faith” statements could be made about you and your walk with God? Write them out and then thank God for His faithfulness in your life.

Pray for Kristi TenClay – NAB Cameroon
After a year of home assignment, I have recently returned to Cameroon where I will once again be teaching at Rain Forest International School. We strive to provide a high-quality Christian education for 7-12 graders to prepare them for their next stage of life. After two difficult years in the Director’s office, I am exciting to be returning to the classroom. It is a time of significant changes at Rain Forest international School several long-time members of our teaching and administrative staff reach retirement, and we struggle to cover teaching duties. We covet your prayers as we continue to seek the best ways to prepare our kids for their next stage of life.
