Psalm 145
Reflect
“One generation commends your works to another; they tell of your mighty acts.” (v4)
On August 20, we heard from our MOBY Mexico mission team. One generation telling of the works of God they experienced personally while in Mexico City to a generation that was not with them on the trip. This telling showed all of us that God is still at work in the world today.
This psalm is a praise psalm. We are encouraged to be a people of praise. A people who remembers and tell, recall, and proclaim the mighty works of God.
Our lives, especially at this time of the year with so much starting up, can be overly busy and we can only think about what the next thing is to be done. Let’s not be a people who are too busy to pause, to recall, to tell others of how God is still at work in our lives today.

What story of God’s work in your life will you tell someone today?

Brett and Riana Loewen serve at the University of Alberta with the university student ministry Power to Change (formerly Campus Crusade for Christ). Power to Change exists to help students take their next step towards Jesus. We long to see every student walking closer to Jesus and experiencing life in Him.
Brett and Riana have a passion to help students know and experience Jesus, seeing His relevance in all of life. They live out this desire as they disciple Christian students, lead Bible studies, care for students in the larger student body, and create spaces for students to discover Jesus.
