Devotional Guide for Monday, March 11

Matthew 18:10-20

Reflect

Acceptable loss is a term that is used in a variety of contexts. In business it is often called “waste” or “shrinkage” to define how much product a corporation will expect to lose due to theft or damage. This term is used in a military situation to determine how many lives they expect to lose in a military operation. Jesus reveals to us that God does not have an acceptable loss percentage. God longs for each and every one of his children to stay connected to Him. He cares about each one who goes astray, none who wander off are ignored as acceptable losses.

Where are you in relation to the Good Shepherd? Are you walking closely to Him? Or are you wandering? No matter where you are, the Father sees where you are, and He desires to be close to you today.
