Let’s personalize this passage today, by following along.
I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, Who has given me, (your name), (name what you have received from Him). Thank Him that He has considered you trustworthy, appointing you to do (services you do for Him). Even though (your greatest fault). Thank Him for His grace poured out abundantly. Thank Him for faith and love. Thank Him for His immense patience towards you. Declare out loud: “Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen.”
Hear Him say: (your name), my child, recall your calling and fight the battle well, holding on to the faith and a good conscience. In what circumstance of your life are you needing to hold on to faith? In what area of your life does your conscience bother you? Is there something to confess?
