Zephaniah 3:17: “The Lord your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in his love he will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing.”
What a beautiful glimpse into God’s heart. He is not distant. He is with you. He is mighty to save, yet tender enough to sing over you with joy.
God doesn’t merely put up with us…He delights in us. His love is not passive but active, joyful, and deeply personal.
In Philippians 4:4, Paul reminds us to “rejoice in the Lord always.” The kind of joy that is not based on our circumstances, but on God’s unchanging presence and love.
The creator of the universe sent His Son to save us from death. Wow… there’s opportunity to rejoice in that alone! Praise God!
