Mark 10:46-52; 32-45
This morning Pastor Lyle will continue the series exploring some of the short prayers in the Bible. The past two weeks we saw how the short prayer, “I want to see” (v51) provides context for the stories that come before it. Today we’ll focus on the story in which James and John ask Jesus for places of prominence in His Kingdom. His answer challenges them (and us) on the very nature of His Kingdom and what this means for us as we consider how to live meaningful lives of godly influence.
