James 1:22-27
This morning Pastor Lyle will introduce a new sermon series entitled, “Doing What Jesus Did (DWJD).” In this series, we will look at a number of different practices that can move us from merely acknowledging “Right Relationship with God, one another and our neighbours” as guiding values, to putting these values into action. Our passage today warns of the danger of a faith that merely fills our heads with knowledge and intentions but never moves to practice. It’s one thing to know what Jesus would do, it’s quite another to actually do it. Truly, following Jesus is much more than knowing stuff about Him, it’s doing what He would have us do.

- Where is there an area in your life where your knowledge of God’s direction exceeds your obedience? What would it look like to truly follow Jesus in this area?
- Ask God to work in your heart and in the hearts of all who will be attending our services online or in person today.
