Preparation for Sunday, March 26

1 Cor.12:24-26; Eph.4:32; Phil.2:1-4

Woven throughout Scripture is the call to love others. The Jesus Way is to always love. True love will result in oneness. That is the goal. That is Truth. Then what is the activity that gets us there? What does it mean to be involved in something that results in a community of loving oneness? Is there a path that will help us get to where we ultimately desire and are instructed to be? If so, who will be our Guide? Many of us do quite well in the practice of hospitality; in fact, we might even be quite comfortable in welcoming others. God’s power is evident when we live in a way where there are not givers and receivers but sisters and brothers. What is the next level of hospitality that God is calling us to?
