Titus 2:1-10

Reflect

Paul instructs Titus to teach the followers in Crete sound doctrine. His instructions involve how to live as people who love God, with different instructions for different groups of people. What stands out to me is the beautiful intergenerational feel this passage has. They are a family. The older men and women receive teaching from Titus and are instructed to “teach what is good.” The older women are instructed to pass on what they know to the younger women. Whoever you are, you will likely know people at church who are older than you as well as younger. People you can learn from and people you can pass on what you’ve learned.

If you have people in your life that are younger than you, what do you wish to pass on to them?

If you have people in your life that are older than you, what can you learn from them? What posture can you take when you approach these relationships?

Take a minute to ask the Lord if there is someone in this season of life you can be intentional to pour into.

On the flip side, take a minute to ask God if there is someone right now you can learn from--someone who is further along in the journey.
