Titus 2:11-15
Reflect
Sometimes I like to write out Scriptures as prayers, taking the Word of God and praying it back to Him. In these prayers we can KNOW we’re agreeing with God in our requests.
Here is an example with today's Scripture. You may want to give it a try sometime. Be blessed!!
Father, Son and Holy Spirit, Blessed be Your Name! Grace! Grace! Your grace! I have so much to be thankful for. You have provided the way for me to be cleansed and saved. Thank You! God, most times I'm living in a tug-of-war between my spirit, where I desire to be self-controlled, upright and godly and my flesh, where I seem to simply move towards ungodliness and worldly passions. I need Your help to renounce the ways of this world that are still part of my life and come under Your covering and authority. I repent of living contrary to Your will. I have so many reasons to hope. I hope in Your help, leading and guidance – and Your “appearing of the glory” (I’m not sure what that means, but it sounds fabulous!!) Thank You Jesus for giving Yourself to buy me back from slavery to this world. Thank You that Your blood purifies me. My hope in You today is this - that I am Your daughter and You have given me “good works” to do. Show me and help me walk in Your ways. I will follow with Your powerful Spirit in me!
